Bhargavi Hemanth is a proud Kannadathi, born in NR Pura, Chikkamagalur District, and currently serving as Director – Sustainability & ESG at an IT firm.

She is the Founder of Sletu Balapa Foundation, an initiative dedicated to promoting Kannada, education, environmental awareness, and cultural heritage. Alongside her professional work, Bhargavi is also a certified counsellor from NIMHANS, actively supporting mental health and emotional well-being in society.

Her contributions to culture, society, and sustainability have earned her several recognitions, including the Proud Indian Award, the Kannada Chandra Award, and the Kannada Ratna Award from prestigious Kannada committees. She has also been felicitated by multiple national and international organizations.

Bhargavi’s work has been featured in publications by the Kannada Development Authority, including Kannada Udyoga Parva, Karnataka GI-tagged Products, and Kannada Chandra.

Beyond her professional and social service roles, she is trained in Vedic chanting, and is deeply passionate about dance and music.
